ITPC congratulates Dr. John Nkengasong, Director of CDC Africa on his forthcoming nomination to lead the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (US PEPFAR).

We’re excited about this news as Dr. Nkengasong has a strong track record of ensuring meaningful community engagement for health.

We are especially proud of his work in 2019 at the African Union for the launch of the HIV Viral Load Movement in Africa to Meet HIV/ AIDS Control Targets by 2030.
