This publication, Analysis of ARV Procurement in the Russian Federation in 2021, outlines the prices, trends and dynamics for recent years of procurement of ARVs in Russia.
It is a great example of how community-led monitoring (CLM) and data access can increase access to treatment. Through CLM, implemented since 2009, communities are able to track data on ARV procurement and use those data in targeted advocacy with manufacturers for price reductions. CLM is also playing an important role in communications with government officials to increase the budget for life-saving treatment.
