Nadia leads ITPC’s What What Matters strategic focus area. She has more than 18 years of expertise in global health, HIV, and human rights issues affecting key and vulnerable populations, especially those living in low and middle-income countries and countries in the global south, working to advance communities’ health and rights through high-level advocacy, strategic policy analysis, community-based research and capacity building for grassroots advocates.

She has extensive experience with the Global Fund, including serving on the Board as a member of the EMRO (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office) delegation, and as an expert to the Global Fund Secretariat as a member of the Global Fund Community, Rights and Gender (CRG) Advisory Board. She previously served on the NGO delegation of the Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) of UNAIDS, representing Africa. She is also a co-founder and Board Member of the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition Middle East and North Africa.
