Dr Graham King is the Director of the St. Augustine Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of the West Indies. In this role, he oversees the innovation ecosystem on Campus and is lead on a number of research and development projects. Currently, projects under Graham’s oversight include the EUR4.9m HIT-RESET Caribbean project, funded by the OACPS/EU, focused on Innovation for Resilience in Caribbean Coastal Communities, a US$10m project focused on addressing flood and saltwater incursion in a watershed in South Trinidad, and a US$1m project providing Monitoring, Reporting and Verification Services to Mangrove Restoration projects in various Caribbean and Latin American countries.
Graham is an Automotive Engineer by training, with 16 years of experience in the automotive industry and 13 years in Academia. He remains actively involved in research supervision. He is a member of the Board of Directors of more than ten organisations, including NGOs and for-profit companies.
