As a Grants and Compliance manager, Nothando supports program teams in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing grant utilization, and mitigating risks. She ensures effective financial management and compliance of donor-funded projects by overseeing planning and budgeting, financial reporting and stewardship, adherence to donor regulations, preparation of accurate financial data and analysis.
She has extensive experience in grants management for programs funded by USAID, Unitaid, CDC, BMGF, UNAIDS in Southern Africa. She has worked for different international and local NGOs (Oxfam GB, Plan International, Wits RHI) and private sector (PwC, Mott MacDonald). She holds a Bachelor’s of Accounting Science (UNISA), completed her SAICA articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and also holds a postgraduate diploma in management (GIBS), as well as various other US financial management training certificates.
