There was a significant health gap in the 2024 UN Civil Society Conference: Shaping a Future of Global and Sustainable Progress which took place in Nairobi, Kenya from 9-10 May.
This was significant because the conference offered civil society organisations an opportunity to put a global perspective on specific issues which will provide preliminary discussions and data ahead of the Summit of the Future in September
One key outcome of the Civil Society Conference is the formation of a number of new (and existing) groups, ImPACT Coalitions, which can take various global governance reform proposals forward.
On the last day of the #UNCSC, the Health ImPACT Coalition delivered a message.
???? Health is a human right, for everyone, everywhere!

How can you develop a Pact for the Future that doesn’t #CommitToHealth?
What is the point of a Pact that sidelines health, a fundamental human right?
Health is a universal human right.
The Pact for the Future must prioritise health for everyone, everywhere.
There’s no future if health is not prioritised.
