“I’m passionate about helping people from poor communities to make a difference in their own lives. ITPC work matters to me because it enables access to medication for people in countries that would otherwise be unable to provide such medication. This improves, prolongs and save people’s lives.”

Nothando Moabi works closely with the Grant and Compliance Manager of the Unitaid Project team and with sub-recipients to ensure compliance with donor regulations and financial guidelines and to ensure efficient implementation of the Unitaid project activities.

She has extensive experience in grants management for programs funded by USAID, Unitaid, CDC, BMGF, UNAIDS in Southern Africa. She has worked for different international and local NGOs (Oxfam GB, Plan International, Wits RHI) and private sector (PwC, Mott MacDonald).She holds a Bachelor’s of Accounting Science (UNISA), completed her SAICA articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and also holds a postgraduate diploma in management (GIBS), as well as various other US financial management training certificates.
